Here in East Tennessee everything is abloom and it is time to start harvesting flowers for infused oils, vinegars and jellies. We make alot of organic buttermilk goats soap so this is the time of year when I begin collecting flowers for both their medicinal properties in my soaps and also for color.

I will be making oil infusions for soap from the following items above – roses, lilacs, sage flowers, violets and honeysuckle. I will be making chive vinegar and dandelion jelly. I will provide recipes below.
