Well, it’s that time of year again — lambing/kidding season beginning to blossom. And, so to it is with our pregnant ewe Mary (the white one). She is a maiden ewe; this being her first year to birth a lamb. We have been watching her udder expand for nearly three weeks now. We were convinced that the lamb/s would be born during Christmas due to the udder development of Mary, but no. We still wait on the lambing as she seems to get increasingly larger both in girth and in udder development. We are expecting twins or triplets from her due to her size.
We’ll continue to post on her development as life on the farm continues to expand this Spring!
